 Amy Zama is a Johannesburg-based Fashion Stylist and Image Curator. Her work gives a platform and voice to contemporary South African and African culture through the authentic representation of creators.

Not satisfied with gentrification for global appeal, she endeavours to ensure that the continent and its stories remain true through the eyes of all audiences.

Lifting while she rises, she invests in local collaboration not only with designers but also through mentorship. She creates opportunities for those who embody the same work ethic as her and mentors burgeon ing minds to ensure that the next generation will thrive in an equitable and merited industry.

Her vision is nourished free of boundaries, her costume design  is fearless and challenging, a combination that sees her thriving in print and digital media across the globe namely her work in Vogue World,Dazed & Confused and ShowStudios. In 2021 she entered the world of TV commercials which has transformed her work to speak on a relatable level to a mass audience without the dilution of mainstream appeal. At such a short entry into tvcs, her stylings have a unique point of view, touching on character development and garments being the driver in story telling.
